Since 1998, iMedia has designed custom data management systems for clients in many industries. Our design goal is to produce high performance systems to allow clients to handle their data as they want while keeping design time and costs to a minimum. Since business data has a common structure we use a modular design concept to develop applications.
We do not believe in “reinventing the wheel”, so we integrate quality commercial software with our custom solutions. This reduces development time and cost, improves data quality and reduces errors.
The best example of this integration is in accounting. Many quality accounting packages exist for complete accounting needs (for example, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reports, etc.). We have integrated a number of accounting programs with our custom software to seamlessly transfer data as needed. Since data is transferred between accounting and the rest of the data management system, data security is greatly enhanced. Since accounting is isolated from the data management system data security is greatly heightened.

Over the years, iMedia’s design work necessitated development of expertise in other areas. Originally, iMedia designed systems for local area networks (LANs), giving us knowledge of high performance LANs. Work with eCommerce and with outside sales forces led us into the area of Internet hosting. While many organizations provide hosting services we have found frequently data load and traffic overburden servers, degrading performance. We offer Internet hosting on restricted use servers to ensure the highest performance from our equipment.
