Digital signage is a new and fast-burgeoning industry. This is advertising via montor display. We are beginning to see these everywhere, in restaurants and stores (for example, Jewel), but also along the side of the road, replacing old paste-up billboard advertising.
Digital signage is also used in presenting classified advertising. Currently iMedia’s newspaper software is set up for placing ads in particular newspapers. This could be developed into digital signage.
Because digital signage is a boom business, iMedia needs to explore this avenue further.
